I think I need to be a guest on that program, "What Not to Wear."
Why? Flannel never goes out of style. :kiss:

~lucky (currently in hole-filled jeans, sweatshirt-style long-sleeve shirt, and doc marten shoes) :rolleyes:

I told my husband if I ever lost all the weight I wanted to that he should nominate me for that show.

You just want someone to buy you a bunch of new outfits.

(Duh.)

Seriously, wouldn't that be great? Not just the free outfits, but having people who know what the heck they're doing to advise? I wish I could have that for my house interior. It's halfway toward a certain real cool look and don't know how to bring it all the way.

If all I had to wear in life were casual outfits, jeans and the like, I'd be fine. However "business casual" escapes me. I try, truly I do, but some days I feel like I'll never get it. It's not that I mind dressing up, it's that I haven't been able to find my own style while doing it. :rolleyes:

I'll bet YOU are one of those people who define "style."

(Today it's hole-filled jeans, sweatshirt-style long-sleeve shirt, and doc marten shoes.)

The iggy button is an underutilized resource. I rarely use it, but did twice today. Once out of compassion (to remove temptation), and once because it was deserved. (I'll bet I'm not the only one who hasn't considered that first reason.)
How do you iggy out of compassion? :confused:

If you and I worked in the same office, I'd be spear-heading several changes in office-attire policies. I prefer your birthday-suit-with-strategically-placed-hair-and-thong look, to be quite honest. I'm also really fond of the glasses, but that's just getting greedy.

I don't think I define anything, but I sure don't give a fuck what people think of how I'm dressed anymore. When I feel good, I look good.

:rose:

p.s. Jeans are God's gift to ME! :D

If you and another person just clash, and you know anything you say in response to anything he says will be taken as hostility, and if the other person probably would be happier knowing that you don't even read anything he says, then it's compassionate to use iggy.

I see. Kind of.

I stepped out of comfort zone colour- wise yesterday with a very bright lime green/yellow scoop neck t-shirt- black trousers and black jacket.

When i bought the top last week i LOVED the colour but was sceptical about how it would look against my skin tone...i was pleasantly surprised and i think it looks great.

I took a pic, im about to make it my av :)

I like it, no one else has to before anyone feels obliged to cmment...;)

~~~
She said what everyone else says to me. I overstress most things.
''you get into this mind state where everything becomes harder than it is, or you cant seem to break it down and work it through.''
I love how my friends are all so perceptive of me, but as much as i have known that to be true for years now...i dont know how to tackle it :(
I wonder how long it will take her? :)
lol, if it were me I'd be like "Wait a minute, I don't remember saying that...oh well." and still not notice. :p I expect she's a bit more perceptive than I am though. ;)
Wal Mart expanding their book department is probably one of the most dangerous things that has ever happened to my bank account :eek:
Every time I go in there I seem to find another couple of books!
