my back hurts...again. I really need to go back into chiropracty- but its so expensive and im only 19!!! neways had to do Dr. Alex's little trick- small towel rolled up like a sausage and placed under the curve of the spine for sleeping on. Really helps. :)

I have lectures today, but i also know that i know the material she is going to cover pretty bloody well as most of it is 1st year a levels :rolleyes: and so i've covered it twice since i started learning psych the 1st time...so i dont think i really need to go. I might join A and L to do cwk...i can make that decision on the way in.

What does 'umeedein' mean?! i can SAY it, coz ive heard it...but what does it mean?! it's hindi or urdu im sure, if its punjabi then we're both clueless :rolleyes:

its not that i believe im 'due' any great wind fall but ive seen this part of the family eat us alive all of my life. yes, i iam a bit bitter over how things 'turned' out and how we give and give and get nothing in return. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO MY CHILDREN.

he called to say hes selling the house. it took my breath away. i knew it would happen but still...nothing can prepare you for it. so many memories there. ah well...i dont believe it should bother me as much as it does. but at what point do i say, so...what part of this is my inheritance? what part of this house that not only my mother but my grandfather helped to build will my sisters and i see?

he will go travelling with the few million he will get from this house and gift his kids with it as well. i hope...i pray he remembers us as well so that the feeling of being passed over YET AGAIN won't be an issue.

whats really bizarre about this whole thing? i would be the only one...the only one to offer to care for him in the end. ain't that a shitter?

Too bad you don't live in Louisiana, Vella. You HAVE to pass your assets down to your children there. I think they've altered the forced heirship law to adapt to modern times, but it's a well-entrenched tradition.

Last night I took this RealAge test, and got the results this morning. It listed my RealAge as about a year and a half older than my chronological age, and one of the things that they listed that contributed to the older age was the size of my car. I drive a Nissan 240SX. They recommended a larger car.

That seems counterintuitive to me. I've already done one of the things that older women always seem to find themselves doing, and that's to get my hair shortened to little more than a crewcut because after all these years I'm tired of dicking around with it. Although I do gel it and spike it--no blue rinse and once-a-week wash & set at the beauty parlor for me. I figure that when I get an overweening urge to start driving an Eldorado or a Lincoln Town Car, it'll be time to go to the doctor and get my meds adjusted.

im only a step daughter.
his kids. *sigh* none of them have offered to care for him. the first thing i did when he told me about selling the house was offer him a place to go (knowing full well i will get no renumeration). i guess i just care about quality of life and not just what i can get for it. time will tell.

I did. Its also steak and blow job day. Though about the only celebration of any of those worthy endeavors I'll get around here is drawing some circles.

Less than $200 for 6 people to live on for the next two weeks. I think I'm going to have to cancel my doctor's appointment and just deal with being sick until the end of the month.
