Somebody else's blurt to me as I was heading into the mall today:

"I don't want to spend all Christmas morning opening presents. So be reasonable."

Bwhahahahahahahaha.
Bah Humbug......

Uh, did that help any......

It sure helped me....

It's a good thing I love my dog. $312, I now know his troubles are probably due to a bacterial infection in his tummy. Good heavens... Merry Christmas to me!

I sympathize .... we spent $350 to find out one of our cats has gas.

It is worth it though ...

Hope your puppy recovers quickly.

Oh he acts fine, just can't keep any food down. As we speak, he's prodding me with his tennis ball. Oy. :D

Thank you. :rose:

My knuckles are rather red and sore.
If i could channel this anger and frustration into my essay/ art/ excersise i'd either write a phenomenal essay/ produce wonderful pieces of art/ be incredibly fit considering the amount of negative energy around me right now.

Thanks Keilan...this fucking essay sucks fucking ass.

Is it wrong of me to be so grumpy about hearing how everyone else has a kid free evening or weekend? Is it wrong of me to be jealous, knowing that they all have lives, relationships, fun when I have three kids, cable tv and Netflix???

No. I'm on my third show in three days and am jealous of anyone who has a life...

I can't remember the last time I had a kid free evening. It goes with the territory. I also wouldn't have it any other way. Enjoy it. :nana: It's not their fault afterall.

No, I get like this too and I think it's totally justified. I'm lucky if I can get a babysitter for a funeral. Maybe it gets better when they're older and you can send them off to a friend's house.

I know it's not their fault. But, not to be rude, there's a big difference between being married and not having time without kids and being a single parent and not getting time without kids. Being single and with kids all the time means a) I never date and b) I'll probably never have sex again.

Your right, SJ.
I didn't mean to belittle your situation.

The wife keeps me sane, sometimes.

Though, it's harder keeping her happy than the kids.

It's the same for me,
a) I'll never date again :D
b) I'll never have sex again :D :D

It could be worse....you could be stuck with someone you absolutely despise, and still have a child with you 24/7, and still have no sex to look forward to.

I don't even have Netflix.

I'm a sucker for a redhead of either sex. Don't know why, but when I see one I understand how the cavemen must have felt when they discovered fire. "Ooh, pretty."

It only seems to happen one kid at a time. :)

Why is it so incredibly sexy to hear two people having sex?

I don't despise my SO, but sometimes, I find it's a lot like being a single mother, only with snoring, criticism, jealousy and extra messes to clean up.

I'd much rather be single, to be honest. At least I wouldn't have to walk on fucking eggs half the time.

I vaguely remember what it was like to not have to... I think it was heavenly. ;)
