There was a smell in the sitting room when I got up this morning. It was indescribable. I couldn't eat my breakfast in there, even 
The heating was on, and I noticed it seemed to be intensifying, so I decided to investigate. It seemed to be centred around the fireplace, so I disconnected the gas fire to check that there wasn't something dead stuck behind it.
There wasn't, but the smell seemed to be getting stronger...
By this point a fine sweat had broken out across my face, and I was beginning to wish I'd given myself more time between eating breakfast and doing the CSI thing.
And then I saw what was causing the smell
For the first time in years, one of the dogs had decided to take a shit in front of the fireplace. Except they must have gotten embarrassed afterwards, because it was concealed under a pile of household bills.
Cleaning it up would have been nauseating enough, but in peering up the chimney, I'd managed to both stand and kneel in it.

Okay, so I over slept and had a flat tire on the way to work....
The glass part of the coffe pot burst and got coffee everywhere,
the main computer has been going down and up and up and down....
no, not because of the coffee...
And that's been the good parts of the day so far....
So what's going to happen on Friday the 13 which is like 4 days away......
