Leaves is the plural of leaf but each Toronto Maple Leaf is an individual so you can't pluralize it so they are the Leafs...or something like that. I forget exactly how it goes. I used to know, really I did.

Dwarfs was actually the accepted plural. It's especially the proper plural for a 'Dwarf' in the sense of a Little Person and not a mythological being. For example:

Hmmm, kinda cute, but not my type, I guess. Seems like a lot of complication for complication's sake (10 radiators? 2 V-8s? Why not one V-12? Why not three radiators (coolant, oil, intercooler)? 10 sounds like a plumbers nightmare. Looks-wise, my tastes run more toward the flowing sensuality of Ferrari or Maserati. She has kind of a "bulbous" look that possibly is meant to connote "power," but doesn't press my buttons.
