And frankly, Zeb, NYC could be considered a war zone. Who knows when and where the next attack will be? What about Belfast? What about the Basque movement? What about Columbine, or Hometown, USA?
But...
with the exception of Belfast, none of the cities mentioned have BEEN a real war zone for the last 20 years. And as far as Belfast, I wouldn't be dragging my family there either.
Yes family can be a strong motivator and I do feel for those caught with their proverbal pants down. In my opinion, it was still poor judgement.
