Living with a vegetarian when you're decidedly carnivorous can drive a person insane. Er.

Trust me on this.

I know.
I did 8 years of it.
In the end, he did his own cooking and I did mine.
Worked.

Anyone wanna run away? I'm thinking ... the sea. Hot sun. Cool water. Peace. Lots of drinks. Good music. Peace and just being is enough .... Way.

Amen. And double on the lots of drinks.

Unrelated: I've spent the last couple of days learning how lawyers came by their unenviable reputation. Ugh.

huggles Vana  :rose:  I'll be there so we can laugh soon

Lizzie - Hey, i've got this problem.... :D

Mat - That seems to be how things are working out so far. Either i cook mine separately, the other roommate makes something we can all agree on (EVERYTHING i know how to make has meat in it), or we make something and leave the meat on the side to be mixed in by those who want it.

totally unrelated in a related sort of way.
i always knew you were beautiful on the inside...but each av shows me just how beautiful you are on the outside.
simply breath-taking.

 :rose: Thank you, Vella. I believe it takes one breath-taking person to know one. What would it take to convince you to put up the leg av again? The one that shows your tat running the length of your leg? *hopeful look* (Not that the current one isn't über cute, 'cause it is!)

I resent that. Why just the other day...oh look, a dime.

Hi Holly.

You know Shang, it's just the 98 percent of lawyers who give the rest a bad rep.

Bush, you fucking hoser, I would much rather my tax dollars fund evacuation efforts in Lebanon than the war in Iraq.

It's unexcusable how long this is taking.

I need to ask a question here.

What kind of parent takes their children into a war zone?
What kind of noodle head goes into a war zone unless they have too?
Anyone who takes their children into a war zone should be charged with child endangerment the minute they set foot back in the US.

Just my blurt. Sorry for the interuption. We now return to our regularly scheduled broadcast.

It wasn't a war zone when they got there, Zeb.

It's been a war zone for the last two decades! One battle after the other has roamed through Lebenon without fail. So what made anyone think that the 21st century would be any different?

I would be completely asshamed of myself for even bring my family anywhere near the Middle East right now.

They were visiting family. According to the article, violence in Beruit was not an issue before this. *shrug* I wouldn't know, I've never been. ;)

I think Minsue already answered your question, but I'll also add they took their son to be baptized. Tradition, family, roots; those are some powerful motivators.

And frankly, Zeb, NYC could be considered a war zone. Who knows when and where the next attack will be? What about Belfast? What about the Basque movement? What about Columbine, or Hometown, USA?
