I have just witnessed an amazingly cruel and malicious act on another web discussion board that was performed with no other intention but to hurt another individual (not me). I guess I am naive, and spoiled by the benignity of this place. We sometimes step on each other's toes and behave thoughtlessly here, but I have never seen outright malice like that in this place. I am quite stunned and saddened, really. My faith in humanity and this medium is somewhat shaken.
