Almost 3am here... I wonder if warm milk would help? *sigh* :)

I tried that, and it's been upsetting my stomach :( Looks like the dairy allergy I had as a kid never quite went away. I need some Night Nurse - or even better, a real life night nurse... in stilettos...

I'll see if I can't arrange to send one, special delivery! ;)

I'm off to see if I can't catch a few more zzz's before daylight. Take care. :rose:

After two hours of lying in bed staring at the ceiling and listening to the fan whir, I finally gave up. I predict another 4 hour nap this afternoon. Grand.

How bizarre...........4am here as well. I wonder if that's the international break up point for insomniacs....no matter what the time zone. *sigh*

Warm milk? *shudder*......not unless you want me vomitting all over the place. In fact, forget it, I wouldn't even be able to get it past my lips.

I've been here in Az 6 weeks now, and I'm still waking every night, and still having to take a nap every afternoon, before I fall down unconscious. I hate napping, makes me feel crap, and just prolongs the inevitable nocturnal wake up. I just don't seem to be able to get past it.

I think your theory of an international break up point is spot-on. I'm just glad I don't have to work today, or I'd be a zombie.

I skipped the warm milk and went straight for the M & M's. They didn't help me sleep, but they sure were nummy!

I say if we're up at the same time tomorrow, we should get a game of cards going.

*sob*

A delightfully cool 81F back in UK home, at midday. Expected high of 84.

It's already 84F here.
At 4 in the morning, and the sun's not even up.

*sigh*

I guess that saying, "East is a beast, West is best," isn't true then, eh? Maybe I'm just sensitive to a disruption in my pattern. :(

Is anyone else having trouble with Lit? Every time I try to refresh the page, or open a dialogue box, it just hangs there for-ever. Driving me nuts.

Think I'll give up and go back to bed.

It must be - that is the time I wake up most mornings regardless of how long I have been sleeping... strange, innit?

I second that - unfortunately at 4 am in the Uk there are not many people to play with. Everyone here seems to sleep well. I miss having Mat &Min here :(

It's 93.2 degree Fahrenheit right now, Darling... (can you say heatwave? ) The school has sent out a newsletter asking us to send two water bottles with for the kidlets to avoid dehydration...

"I could be bound in a nut, and call myself king of infinite space, were it not that I have off dreams."

I hate that my dreams became more vivid and yet also more surreal when I get stressed out.

one crisis (hopefully) averted, on to the next must-do-it-right-now-or-die situation.

*sigh*

stop the ride, I want to get off....it's making me seasick.

Very strange indeed. It's a plot. There's something in the water. Maybe.

Miss you too, love. I wish I could be definite about when we'll be back, but we are totally in the hands of the beauracracy now. I don't even have my passport until they return it. *sigh*

I sympathise with you. I really do. It may be 93.2F where you are, but in my part of the UK, specifically a lot closer to the south coast than you, it's currently 84F (just checked). And I forgot that UK kids are still in school. Schools closed here weeks ago for the summer. How long, another week before summer break??

Oh, I am very aware of the fact that it's summer holidays over there... ;)

4 more days to go here!! :nana:
