Now I'm surfing for info on what to do to alleviate them....and possible get rid of them.

Talk to Mallie... she was hospitalized by them and was in danger of dying from pancreatitis due to a gall stone blocking her bile duct... they aren't to be fucked with babe!

Gallstones are pretty damned serious, Mat. I got them at 30, and I ignored them and ignored them until they lodged in my greater bile duct and I developed prancreatis and....it was all SOOO bad. I know EXACTLY where my pancreas is because it tried to push its way out of my back. Honestly, due to being very stubborn and having a high pain tolerance, I almost killed myself.

There are some (or were, 10 years ago) ultrasound treatments for those not good candidates for surgery. Please take care of it, one way or another.

And YES, that fucking HURTS!

Every time I've had to move, I've found myself wishing I were a mendicant priest or something, owning nothing but a saffron robe, pair of sandals and a begging bowl.

I know they're serious and I know they hurt like fuck. That makes my 6th attack in just over a year.

I have no desire to have surgery unless there is absolutely 100% no alternative. The physical after effects of the surgery don't read too well.

I've been reading up on it, and there is much that can be done to alleviate the situation, even solve it. Diet (low, low fat) and exercise are all I can do now. I'll see my own doc when we get back to UK. I need an ultra sound to ascertain just how big the stones are to be able to use the system I've found to flush them out. If, like the ones in your case, they are too big for the duct, then something else will have to be done.

My son, 21 and I are die hard Chicago Cubs fans. I had to call at the end of the top of 6th inning, 41 minutes and 11 runs by the Mets later. Had to ask, what do you have to do to become a White Sox fan. He said, "dunno, think you might have to sell your soul or something." I'm considering it
