I figured that since I'm having Mexican tonight anyway, I may as well pop in the Like Water for Chocolate DVD and see if I get any inspiration. ;)

poetry blurt ...

fluid

i am the wine of peace
lingering on your lips

drink me
lest i fear
i am the river of hope
drowning you in desire

swim in me
lest i doubt
i am the blood of passion
burning in your veins

flow through me
lest i cool
i am the sweat of sex
dripping from your chin

satisfy me
lest i dry
i am the nectar of night
quenching your thirst

thank me
lest i wither
i am the dew of dreams
your morning memory

savor me
lest i forget
i am the water of truth
soothing your soul

hold me
lest i slip through your fingers

*Makes note to self. Rebel gets no roses.*

Read about stuff. Glad things are going well.

Rebel likes roses, though I much prefer daisies. It's just the reasoning behind the name of the comic. :p

 Thanks blackhaus, I'm surprised at how smoothly it's going.

Alessia - Wow. :rose:

Unrelated blurt:
I really don't want to wake from this dream

I want to keep the warmth of her skin against mine
I want to keep the smell of her hair
I want to keep the softness of her kiss
I want to keep the sparkle of her eyes
I want...like I've never wanted before
for this day to never end

*le sigh*

I prefer "Better than chocolate" And the Sarah Mclachlan works brilliantly - as always.

P.S.
What did you think of the OST?

Loved it! Thank you again! :)

You're welcome. It's so dynamic. I'm listening to OST Gladiator and Braveheart tonight. Conquering worlds... or wishing that I was...

Sigh...

It's good music to write to, those dynamic soundtracks. At least that's what works for me. ;)

Indeed. Yet, sometimes I need silence. Anna Nalick and Mellisa Etheridge helped me get through a week of emails today and then Snow patrol and Goo Goo dolls was with me during two hours of editing.

Music rules my life

Ditto, although writing and music are always battling for #1.

I am pleased you've found your peace. I know it's been a long time coming. :rose:

Blurt:

I was talking to the nurse who administered my immunizations. We were discussing water quality etc. in the areas of China I will be visiting. She said that the safest thing to drink in any country is beer. Beer?! According to my nurse -and I have no reason to disbelieve her- they've tried growing botulin in beer, and failed.

I must learn how to say "beer" in Wu.

You can get bottled water. In fact the Hotel I stayed at had a 4 bottles every day in the cupboard for me, free of charge. I didn't get sick or anything.

Well there was that problem with the discharge from .... but I don't think that was from the water?!?!

I was thinking of taking the water filter I use when I'm backpacking. It's small and light, don't know if it's worth the hassle though.

Thanks! It was a spur of the moment thing. It was fun. :)

There's something unsettling about a elementary school teacher who is pretty enough to be a model, has a very sexy smile and yet is just to nice to think of her in a skimpy bikini.

But she makes awards day more bearable.

Looking at bed frames.......
[internal monalogue]
That's gorgeous, but not what I wanted.

Oh, eww, waaay too many curly spiral things.

Wow, that might just be it. And it would work really well with handcuffs.
[/internal monalogue]

I think I have a slightly one track mind.
