Wishing you luck, although I'm quite sure you won't need it. :)

oh thanks  however I just got an email from them saying they weren't taking any new submissions until March 3 and resubmit then. Damn.

Not that far away, though.

Prolly 'cause of that contest they're running -- 'cause stuff's due by the 28th. Send 'em something short for that first??? A tasty lil morsel to whet their appetites???

:cathappy:

Now you have another month to think about it. Is that good or bad? Good meaning that you could go over your novel and fine tune it (if needed), and bad meaning that you now have a month to stress over it before sending it in again. It's a quandary.

I'm sure they'll want you to bring you on when you resubmit, carson, they would have to be complete idiots to not. I may not know what "art" is, bit sure as hell know what's good and you definately are, baby. :) :rose:

Nah, I don't stress about things.... it's not worth it. If I weren't too lazy to write a plot summary, I'd send it out to some other places....

Puppies make the funniest noises when they sleep.
They dream about being in the womb where it was all nice and warm and they could hear their mothers heartbeat.

That must be it.
She still nurses in her sleep.

Makes me wonder if dogs have the "rooting reflex" like human babies do. Anytime something brushes the face, that little head whips around to latch onto the nearest nipple. :D

I figured they would too, but I sleep nakey and the dog slept in bed with us...she rested her head on my pillahs all night and never once grabbed hold. THANK GOD!

Be of good cheer. It's just a little logistical / industry thing. They need to clear the decks so as to have all hands available to write their enthralled letters of admiration once your work comes in.

Oh yeah. Sharp little things, too. Thankfully, she doesn't do a lot of grabbing hold, but she will chew on your hand forever if you let her.
