I got trolled....I can't believe it. I honest to goodness got trolled. I've been printing out my submissions for the past 2 months. June and July both at the end of the month when I noticed that alot of my H's disappeard....Now, I print today in the middle of the month and guess what???? All the little 1 bombs have been taken away and my poems are back at being H's!!!!
WTF? I would never, could never, ever troll a person. Why do this?
I am keeping my print outs and intend to PM Laurel...Who would ever have thought that there is a poem troll??? A POEM TROLL????

Thanks...it's just so infuriating! It's as if it were done just before each months' end so that the Poems wouldn't be nominated! I mean, give me a break. There are poets on Lit, I'm not a poet. I am not looking to compete.

Yes there is a poem troll. Or maybe several poem trolls. I have one that is quite relentless and loves to one bomb the same poem over and over. Yeah, it sucks. But you're not alone.

My highest score on one poem is a 4.82. It was trolled until it hit 4.50 two months consecutively. Now, today, it is back at 4.82. I guess within 2 weeks it will be back at 4.50

My poetry troll is absolutely dogged in his/her determination that no work of mine EVER remain on the Top List. As such, a single vote has been cast and removed on several of my poems DOZENS of times. Just the appearance of my name on the Top List is enough to warrant a 1-bomb, regardless of the work.
Vigilante voters. I feel sorry for them, actually.
It's an annoyance, but I refuse to let the pathetic dweeb raise my blood pressure anymore. Instead, I now work quietly & calmly behind the scenes to do what I can to improve the integrity of Lit's voting/feedback system.

you have to take it all with a grain of salt until laurel/manu get off their asses and do something about it. it's not you the trolls are after, not your poem, or your story for the matter, it's that Top List and those little H's, W's and E's

They're the worst, babe. When the 1s and 2s get wiped a few times, they come back with 3s.
Each time I've had a poem start climbing the list they've hit me. I'm not a poet and don't claim to be so it doesn't bother me so much when they shove me back down into my place but you write some really good poems, Honey, and deserve better treatment.
