Teenagers drive me nuts.

I say, lets go get dinner, I'll be home in 30 minutes. She says, okay.

I get home 45 minutes later and as I walk in the door she jumps up, grabs her sunglasses and tells me that she and her boyfriend have to run to his mom's house. We can get dinner after they get back.

His mom lives 20 minutes away.

I hate it when the weather gods piss on me (by making it humid and drizzly) as I mow. There must be a much better way to end up sweaty, wet and sticky.

:D

I kinda have to admire this. I have never seen anyone be able to be so smooth when being so manipulative. It is almost an art form....

$775 a year for pre-school?! What the fuck are they gonna teach him, physics?

I sent my son to catholic pre-K 3 and then 4 prior to sending him to Kindergarten. I believe it was $1,000 then. I am very glad that the suburb I live in has incredible public schools so that I didn't need to pay for Kindergarten and the elementary school he is in now.

But you take the good with the bad in living in Suburbs - extremely high taxes - most of which go to the schools..

And honestly, it might not be physics, but they were teaching my son allgebra in 3rd grade!!!

We're pretty lucky that there are a lot of choices out here in the suburbs as well. I really want to send him to this school because it's right up the road and there are only nine kids in the class, but we just can't afford it. I think I'm going to teach him at home and then send him to kindergarten next fall. I didn't go to pre-school and I turned out just fine, er, well....

Our preschool costs 7 dollars for a half day. Jericho will be going 2 times a week. It'll add up to around that or more. I just pay it monthly. I have to get her in school, she is so ready to be away from me for awhile and I need to get her used to schedules.

I only sent my son for half-days as well and only 4 times a week. *shakes head*

I don't think I went to preschool when I was younger, but I did go to a catholic elementary school...which SUCKED ASS! I didn't learn the 9 x's table even in 8th grade!!!
