The first day of looking after 4.5 year-old granddaughter and 4.5 month-old grandson while their Mum returns to work after maternity leave.

But we're shattered. I'm off to get a take-away meal so we can collapse in front of the telly.

Ok, maybe a little backstory on that one.

After the video cards on my gaming computer burned out I had them replaced at the computer repair shop my mother works at. When I got it back it wouldn't connect to the internet anymore. the tech that worked on it did something where it was looking for another computer to network with, and I couldn't undo whatever it was he did. In fact, I probably made things worse...

My mother told me to have it ready this morning to be dropped off and fixed today. I forgot to unplug everything and leave it on the dining room table for said pickup this morning, and now I have no idea when it will get done

Did I ever mention that I stopped gambling? I stopped gambling until November when my family goes back to Vegas again. My father won his way into a tournament this time, so we go again. So I'm not gambling until I am out there, and then I am going to try to keep it to a small amount of cash. And then hopefully I will quit for good.
