finally read a child called it.

At least you have time to prepare. I entered my tournament last year with a week's notice, and royally screwed up my open hand form a third of the way through it, and had to invent the rest on the spot trying to get all of the moves in, just in the wrong order. As I was contemplating how to get the ending, I heard a little girl from another school say, "He did that already." I just lost all my steam at that point...
My weapons form was better than I expected it to be though, and I was bumped from intermediate to advanced level for it

Pete is not a nice guy. He's grouchy and thinks every spot he's in belongs to him. He tends to feel imposed upon when others come into his personal space. And now, for his crimes and for his aggressive nature, he has been tried and sentenced.
Poor Pete wouldn't leave the newly released guppy babies alone, so he's been banished from the big aquarium and sent to fish jail in a mason jar on my desk until I can get him his own little 2-3 gallon tank. It's not always the nice guys who finish last.
