Isolated Blurt Thread

I got all of my drinking out of the way early in life. It holds very little interest any more.

On the upside, thanks to the Lyric Game thread, I now have enough songs battling for attention that it's simply become a cacophany that is more easily ignored.

It never held all that much interest for me and less now than it once did.

Well, there's a bit of good news then, I suppose. A wide selection of songs battling for airplay in the mind does tend to at least prevent the monotony of the same song repeating.

Mmmm! It could replace all of the former. A featherless gosling will always be welcome in my home.

Of course, it leaves one to wonder where all the feathers have disappeared to.

Either that or clever with semantics. I notice she didn't say she'd send them - just that she wished she had them to send.

I noticed that myself. Maybe we should all take up a collection for her birthday.

All of those are present, in spades, it's the "higher level" that appears to be lacking. Other than the reading, that is. The reading is and has always been of the voracious variety. The rest meanders about at mediocre. It's a good mediocre, though. I'm not complaining.
