I kept hearing this wierd noise and finally braved the torrential rain and gale force winds to chase down my dustbin lid rushing madly around the driveway. I tried to put the trash out for the bin men this morning (poor bastards, I wouldn't have their job for anything), and the blasted bags keep blowing around - and they aren't light. I hope they're still in the same place when the truck comes round. *visions of the contents of our trash bags flying around the street..*

It seems to have stopped now, though. I think it's supposed to be calmer for the rest of the day, then we're going to be back to 70mph winds tomorrow...

According to BBC weather, for your part of the world you have rain for the next 5 days.......light showers today, Friday, Sat and Sun....but heavy rain tomorrow..which is what we have now. As for the winds..up to 40mph gusts tomorrow, down to 17 and 29 the next 2 days, but back up again to 45mph on Sunday. It's going to be fun.

I think I'm going to fall into that category this morning. All I want is to do things for myself this morning..like hot bath, nap. Not all the cruddy housework and other things I must do.

unrelated- omfg I forgot once again to put it on my list to call the university about the freak registration information they want. Yeah tell an american to put down their education level in british standards I have no understanding off where my level lands. I have a high school diploma, I have 5 years of university, I have a certificate in travel and tourism and bugger it if I cant figure out where in all those abbreviations all that fits!

edit~ bwahaha I have confused the university as well Plus I forgot I have my new certificate in information and technology.
