OK. I'm ready to cry. I need to lose weight, but the cold is making me hungry *all* the time, really tired and when I try to exercise the cold air makes my chest hurt.

How can I lose weight when I do no exercise and am constantly hungry? <sobs in frustration>

I'd like to, but there's only one class a week I can go to and I'm such a new beginner that I'm nervous of doing too much at home in case I develop bad habits.

I was having an extremely bad night lastnight, don't really want to get into it. But needless to say I'm getting a little more stressed out this holiday then I'd like to be, sometimes I really love working retail but right now I'm really hating it. Wish I had the skills to do something else but unfortunately I don't...
*hugs you tight* :rose:

Mils~ Honey you do what they told me, stand up 4-5 minutes every hour and walk in place. Little bursts tire you out less and still add up. snack on raw veggies and fruit.

I read a really good book recently and it probably does't all apply to you at all.

Eating Less: Say Goodbye to Overeating

But part of it goes into hunger and how it can often be from emotional and mental stimulation and nothing o do with physical hunger at all.

One of the things recommended is as you sit down to eat decide how much you're going to eat (so your meal plus a dessert for example or just a packet of crisps for a snack or osmething) then give yourself a time for when you'll next eat. She recommends anything from around 2 -4 hours.

It just gets you regulating your intake and thinking about it. When you think about it you're more likely to make healthy decisions too. *grins*

it's funny how we have foods that we associate with certain festivals and anything else seems almost a desecration, isn;t it?

If it helps in any way, with my family being Hindu, and we eating Indian food...
