It seems to be common...we eventually had to get a second, thicker mattress for ours and even then it tends to slide and fold...then again, the cats laying on the top don't help that either

I had the same problem with a futon. A thicker matress does help.

No, I don't want their wings or their feathers...I want whatever the hell they have that makes them so "cute" to my roomies. I'm laying here all sore, dammit, and none of them cares about me. They're all sitting at the end of my bed and feeding birds while I haven't had anything in my stomach since that sandwich this afternoon.

Isn't it a friend's job to take care of me instead of pampering stranger...birds?
