I adore candles. There's something about the light that just makes things feel, smell, look, and taste better. We have a great tub here with a big ledge that we sometimes fill with candles for baths. I love it.

:D

i do too but with two brats ruling the roost its hazardous to light them often. I agree things definately look much nicer by candle light. I have never done the candle lit bath thing before today...it was nice to be able to without my family here *content sigh* your bath sounds great :D...mine is 'normal' one person sized...annoying...particulalrly difficult to share a bath...as i found out the hard way when my ex and i got a little stuck some months back...ha .

*blurt* WHY oh WHY did i just attempt a sexy chair dance on my swivel chair on hard wood flooring? i should have KNOWN i would end up on my ass...hitting the floor that is...

How about without? I'm about ready to drive up and get you, bring you home, and just generally hide you away for my own.

:D Sounds perfect to me.

Fine. I quit. The fairer sex can stick a lit dynamite stick up its snatch for all I care.
Wow, that'll give new meaning to the whole "fire crotch" thing. ;)

*hugs Rob tight*

I dont want you to get married, and you arent looking forward to the idea of your husband being chosen by your parents either. I hope to god you make it clear to your future hubby (when you have a future hubby ;)) that you arent going to be a housewife, and that you want to progress in your chosen career. I don't want to have to ask HIS permission to go out with you when you are married. And you better warn him advance of your shoe fetish- he needs to have a big house. ;)

hmmmm, i was thinking whilst clearing the kitchen (as good a time to think as any) that i havent had to 'sacrifice' much in my life, and i know a lot of people who have. Granted they are all considerably older than my 19, and i have a long life ahead in which to make choices and sacrifice. I have friends who are my age and have had a lot to deal with and they have on some level made sacrifices that have changed their lives- i envy the life experiences they have gained but they envy the fact that i havent had to deal with the stuff they have.

I guess, i havent really had a rough time of life, this all in all kinda makes me apprehensive about setting foot into the real world alone when im older, well not alone- with guidance but tentatively taking the 1st step relatively independantly. *ponders*

Thanks MissScarlett. Better now. But still seriously thinking of quitting.

There doesn't seem to be any reason to continue, ya know? All this whole exercise has proven is how distant I am from most of my species, how little in common I have with them.

Like my vampire, I can observe but not really participate.

I know exactly what you mean. Swearing off of looking for love and relationships always works better than actively looking for them anyway. Just when you least expect it, someone will latch onto you and refuse to leave you alone. That's what happened to me anyway. :cathappy:

With my luck it will be someone I wish would leave me alone. ;)

Hmmm.....an arranged marriage in this day and age? Damn! Sucks, especially if she doesn't love him, but you instead. If she doesn't care for the guy, I hope that she doesn't marry him, either. Not only would you be happier, and her, but he would too in the long run. Being married to a woman who doesn't love you can be a nightmare.

:) you've misunderstood my post, but then i didnt make it easy to understand i guess! I was actually talking about my cousin who i am very close to, and is innevitably to marry within the next few years. Yes, and arranged marraige no less. Her family is as such- 'love' doesnt exist, or at least is not a foundation for a relationship but a consequence of. Thank you for your comment though :) She isnt opposed to the idea- she has accepted that it is innevitable and there is almost no way she could have a love marraige- even if she did find somone herself, he wouldnt be suitable accoridng to her parents ideals. Here's an example:

Her oldest brother has a very high flying career in the city- the kind that would cause a burn out in your forties if not earlier, he is intelligent and relatively good looking, earms loads, etc etc, yet his parents have been looking for a girl for him for 3 years- the girl they want (studious, pious, loving, caring, respectful, intelligent) doesnt exist- a HIGHLY intelligent woman with the qualities i have listed would not want to live with her inlaws, would not want to stay at home and be a housewife like they expect, and she would have a mind of her own and a tongue to match- which they disdain in any female.

so really...its a no win...it looks like his younger sister is going to marry before either of her older brothers. !!!!

Amen to that.

In other news, I just realized my grandma's house has the best feng shui ever and I'm arranging my living room furniture just exactly like hers. Except without doilies or figurines.

Remember my rule, if something comes in, something else has to go. So maybe you can just bring a couple of things over to start with, to take back with you when you find something else to bring over. :D
