If it was only me, Sweet, I would be able to accept it. But to see the disappointment on my daugher's face when I told her our flight has been cancelled . . . to hear my mom's tears over the phone when I told her we probably won't be home for Christmas.

It breaks my heart.

* Massive Zade hugs *

Sometimes I hate Christmas. There's so much pressure attached to one particular day.

Is there a chance it'll be rescheduled?

One of my friends is supposed to be flying home to Belfast over the weekend. Apparently they're giving highest priority to long haul flights, which means you're more likely to get home if you live in the States, or Australia, or Canada... or South Africa.

:heart:

Not my favourite thing to do naked, but I can live with it.

Rob I just discovered your recently posted story, You Can't Go Home Again. I downloaded it to read offline. I've yet to read it, but I did skim the first couple of pages. It will be my first read of anything in the non-human genre. But from my skim, it appears an intriguing story (except for the British spellings. They all show up as misspelled words for me. Shame on you. :rolleyes: )

Thanks Skip. I hope you like it.

And I'm Canadian. I spell 'em the way I was trained to. ;)

Yeah, I know. I was kidding. Does your version of Word use a UK dictionary for spell checking? Or maybe I should ask if you even use Word.

I knew that. ;)

I use a Mac program, Pages. More a page layout program than a word processor but quite adequate.

My Mac's also got a copy of the Oxford American dictionary and thesaurus on it. It covers both spellings if the US and UK versions are different.
