I have to wear anti-eye bugging sun glasses and a cod piece now.

Welcome to the club.
My usual attire when I'm out. It saves any embarassment.

At least its easier to color coordinate than the strait jacket and Hannibal Lechter Face Mask I used to wear.

And paying someone to wheel me around on a hand truck was getting expensive.

Two peas in a pod!

Gotta go. Later.

Is my confidence mistaken for arrogance? Or are guys just afraid of me? Ugh, I hope it's the first one.

I'd ask you out if I wasn't married, wasn't living a thousand miles away and though I had lucky's approval.

I've been trying to figure out how to say what I want to say, explain how I feel, and I've just now realized what it is:

I deserve better.

ETA to add the rest-

I'm done with all the effort. It obviously doesn't mean a thing.

Confidence is a virtue. Hopefully it is tempered by reason, as in, "I'm not confident that if I jump off that 40 story building there will be a good outcome," but that's not really what you're talking about, is it. ;)

No, you don't come off as arrogant at all. You appear young, eager, hopeful, benevolent, a bit wide-eyed in an endearing way, having a good heart, valuing good things, and - confident. :D

Yay you! :rose:

You are such a wise, wise woman. Thanks for having confidence in me. ;)

As I've said once before, good company brings out the best in me. And Litzens are always good company. Voila!

And you dear Roxanne Appleby appear intelligent, wise (as noted above), caring, clever, stalwart, having a beautiful soul, to lift people up and inspire them when it is most needed, and one hell of an art lover. Beautiful woman. :D

So would I, only I'm not married and don't live quite as far away. :)

If a woman is confident I find it attractive. If she knows she is intelligent, knows she can be a flirt, and she is secure in how her body looks, That is an amzing turn on. More than a good set of breasts anyday. And I really like a good set of breasts. But confidence and power turn me on far more. And as much as I like a set of good breasts, I don't gawk or stare or comment. As for being found arrogant over confident.

It's possible. Definetly so with us guys. More and more I find my confidence is always mistaken for arrogance. Especially on these boards. So I just went one further, I am arrogant. I openly admit that as a flaw, and it seems to work for me.

However more and more I notice that people don't talk to each other at all. And that human contact is getting progressively harder. I might have flaws but I think of myself as social and polite. If I make Eye contact with someone on the bus or in a room, or walking on the street, I say hello in some way.

I went out to breakfast with freinds this morning, Said hello to our server and three people who walked in the door of the the tiny 'Friends and Neighbours Cafe' that I live near. None said hello or good morning back, and one an older gentleman visibly scowled at me. I said good morning to someone in line, in front of me at the supermarket. Never mind that she was a girl attractive to most. (I don't rate blonds. Sorry just a thing.) It was almost 9 am. She said nothing So I left it until I almost bumped into her outside. Said good morning again. And she finally clued in to say good morning back and I kept walking. Which I would have done anyway.

It is an interesting thing. If I say hello and smile, I am likely not trying to pick you up. If I talk to you like a fellow human I'm not trying to get in your pants. I'm blunt don't like lying, and brutally honest. If I want in your pants, you'll know. And the thought that anything I say is a pick up line, even something as harmless as good morning, kinda bothers me. And don't even get me started on compliments. I have been slapped far more times for 'That's a nice scarf', than actively grabbing an ass. This is only because I have never grabbed an ass unless I knew I could and it was invited, but I say nice scarf, a lot.

To be perfectly honest I'm not sure where I'm going with this. I guess I'm just Venting or I'm rambling. Luckily this is where that is permitted. I also guess I'm getting tired of being looked at coldly for saying Hi, which is part of of my general fear to simply PM someone to simply say I liked or agreed with something. I have a GF she's wonderful and On Lit. And I am a shameess flirt but I don't try to pick up everyone, It takes a good bit to be in that category.

I think I'll likely be blurting a little more now that the holidays are upon us, but I'll leave with some general thoughts for people.

If a man says Hello, Just hello, or nice boots, or cute hat. He may just like the hat, please don't reach for the mace instantly. It's a compliment. In fact Even if it's as crude as Nice tits, if he doesn't make a further move, mayhaps you might think of it as a compliment.

Guys please try to be civil and polite. Why in gods name do you think it's ok to simply ask a woman for sex because she's comfy with her body? When is it ever OK to simply ask a random person for sex? Have a brain please. This includes trying to give proper compliments. And send good PM's. If you liked a pic? It's cool to say you liked it, even in a PM. But it is not cool to say how aroused it made you, or what you'd like to do to her. This is not speaking your mind it's harassment.

Women same deal.

I'm gonna end befoe i get really going. I have to go to work.

I haven't put up a Christmas tree yet this year. I don't believe I will, either.
Hiya, doll. Do put up some colorful Christmas tree lights, though. They require little work, and make the place ever so much more cheery. :heart:

*sigh* with all due respect R, i wish you didnt turn up today, i could have done with the one on two contact. And i hate even more how today turned into 'let's compare out parental relationships' urgggh, as if i dont know mine are shit and that my parents dont give a fuck about my mental health, you have to come along and start going into how close you are to your dad and how your mum misses you.

And yes D & L...i fucking hope the two of noticed when i stopped short of my sentence, i fucking hope you know why.

I dont think i can wait till the 10th...at least not easily without feeling very very lost.

~~~
I was meant to spend the last hour writting up what i had already written of chapter 8...(i actually managed to write this morning). WHY THE FUCK DO I ALWAYS GET DISTRACTED.
