goddammit i'm sick to death of working part time and having no fucking money week to week. i don't want pity, i want my fucking knee to heal and i want to go full time. i want to have MY money. i want to be able to buy whatever the fuck I want to buy and not have to rely on others. i want to be able to pay half the rent, electric, whatfuckingever, but i'm sick to death of coming home with 90 to 100 dollar paychecks week to week. i'm sick of dead ends. i'm sick of other people's issues, and i'm sick of being the asshole that people want to endlessly talk to about their problems. you know what? i don't care. call me cruel, heartless, bitter, whatever. you're right, i am. i'm sick of getting walked on, bitched at, yelled at, looked at like i'm stupid. i'm sick of no one listening when i say whatever it is i say. i'm sick of people acting surprised when shit doesn't work out, even though i warned them beforehand. i'm sick of having to ask for simple things to get done. it isn't going to happen any longer. i am sick and fucking tired of people. i'm sick of bullshit. i'm sick of getting lied to. i'm sick of people getting in my personal space. i'm sick of talking when i just don't feel like talking. i'm sick of feeling obligated when no one deserves my obligation anyway.

The Lit forum does not like non-Latin characters in user titles. It did not like 𐀡𐀴𐀛𐀊 as a title (it was rendered 𐀡𐀴𐀛&). Nor, several months ago, would it accept いつ逢ん身はしらぬひの遠がすみ (which it rendered いつ逢&--there's a pattern here).

This disappoints me.

Well thank you (I say, as if I can take credit for a 3500 year old painting).

It is a section of a Minoan fresco found in Akrotiri (on the north wall of Room 3a on the first floor of the building Xeste 3, if we want to be specific) depicting the 'Mistress of the Animals' (in later Greek, potnia theron; potnia being written in Mycenaean Linear B as po-ti-ni-ja, which should be 𐀡𐀴𐀛𐀊, hence the attempted title) seated and flanked by a variety of animals: clearly that's not visible in the avatar itself, nor is it especially clear in the fresco itself, since much of the paint has chipped away in the intervening millennia.

Here is a larger, full image, originally from the Thera Foundation website--I think.

(As you can see, I've also flipped it.)
