Sitting in bed, computer in my lap, a small jolt of the bed and my kitty comes walking up to me. Because I feel bad for leaving her so much lately, I move the computer to the side a bit and she actually curls up in my lap. She's not much of a lap kitty most of the time, unless you pick her up and keep petting her to keep her there. I pet her a bit and go back to the computer. A paw reaches out and gets placed, very posessively, on my arm. I look down and she's looking up at me as if to say, "My mommy."

What would any cat lover do?
