This latest rejection message says that there are characters younger than 18, but I never mention specific ages in the story. I suppose I should have made the ages clearer than I did, even though it didn't feel natural to go into it in the specific context. I guess I have to compromise a little. The first time around this wasn't an issue though, which is a little weird. The last time it was something about how I should include punctuations, commas and such inside the quotation marks.

Has your story been through a good editor?

You're a lovely Bitch...but you're so damn smart, you don't need a convertible..unless of course it's red and goes real fast...

Hon, I'm sexy regardless...

I don't like red cars. It's silver, and it is very, very hot.

I said "even more"... now take the compliment and revel in it.

You must specify age, dear...if you suggest "young" they think YOUNG.

You mean you need to use punctuation?

I haven't been writing stories for long, so I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean a text editor or a human editor of some kind?

But how can I punctuate on the puter and stuff cause my hole maker thingy only works on paper and foil and latex and stuff.

Sigh, I see.

No, the issue was that I didn't include punctionations, commas, question marks and such within the quotations of the characters dialogue. That is apparently the preferred practice.

Debbie you needn't puntuate, as long as you take deep breathes in between, I think you will do just fine...just if you turn blue...call 911

That is a very wise and philosophical question in itself. Are editors (text or so called human) truly human? (Goodness, I am so going to get slapped for that one)

That statement brought to you by a woman who earns most of her living by editing. (And i am human. Tired, hormonal and delusional, but human)

PM on it's way to you, B :rose:

"Yes, it is." Honey said. "Now, don't dispair, just get an editor and it will be fine."

Patting BitterIchor's hand lightly and giving it a squeeze, Honey drops back onto the sofa delighted that she didn't spill any of her wine.

***Don't mind me, I'm really getting a buzz on***

In between pages ands stuff? Cause I'd turn blue reaaly fast like that cause I tipe slower than Darnoel and stuff but if I was turning blue that would mean I wasnt breathing and stuff unless I just spilled the blueberry juice and stuff but I keep it in a special tainer now so I don't look funny at work and stuff but anyway if I couldnt breathe how could I yell for 911?

We have never communicated directly, but it disturbes me greatly that you have my stepmother's name... (and no, her name is not Rideme Cowgirl)

Yes, I realize that is indeed how you punctuate within the quotation marks. ;)

She spells it exactly like yours... and she is not from England. Even further away and stuff.
