Ever read a children's book, and absolutely everything sounds sexual??

Title: Divide and ride
Amanda says "Come and fill my seat"
We need three people before we can ride.
Then we start to slide and slip

In addition to this, most fairytales have some kind of sexual connotation to me.
You make me miss good ol' Dick & Jane. :D

They do. ;)

No, really. The earliest manuscript versions of "Rapunzel" from the Grimm brothers do not have the witch realize that Rapunzel has a lover when she thoughtlessly says, "Gee, you're so much slower climbing up than the prince." The manuscript copy has the witch work it out when Rapunzel says, "Mother, why are my dresses all so tight across the belly now?" The good brothers took some license in editing that one.

What does that have to do with anything? In case it had escape your notice, you thoroughly domesticated fowl, this is...*shocker*...a PORN site! *audience gasp*

 you both, though. ;)
[flogging a live horse]

While it has sadly since been removed from the site, the year end award for audio poetry once went to Tristesse for a lovely poem entitled Reflections on a Shaved Ham Sandwich. (and it was good enough that I still remember it years later)

Now what's your excuse, hmmmmm? :p

Very interesting... It's the symbolism that interests me.

The wolf in little red riding hood somehow has a rape/ reluctance theme for me

And goldilocks only went to the wood to break chairs, and eat porridge? I wonder if baby bear and/ or daddy bear and/ or mommy bear were not still in bed when she decided to take her nap

Wasn't Sleeping Beauty originally awakened by the prince having sex with her?

My excuse now is that it's not really poetry, and it would need much editing to become poetry, and I don't write poetry and I don't edit! *breath*
Not good enough. I don't consider any of what I have posted to actually be poetry. :D

Sometimes the only word I can come up with to identify it is love...however overused, imappropriate and overblown that seems...
