I just happened to zap channels on TV, and a Sesame Street episode is on, in the middle of the night. Weird.

Anyway, Bert was the only one I liked of those guys. The only one who didn't act like a docile dough-brain half of the time.

All hail the big B.

You're cute. :cathappy:

But ... wtf are you taking? And where can I get some?

Thinking about Bert and Ernie being gay makes watching Seasame Street with my kids much more entertaining.

It's called Insomnia. Still want some?

I have a Fisher Price Bert sitting here on my desk. I've had him since I was about two, I think. He still looks pretty good, except for the teeth marks on his plastic hair from where I chewed on him. :cattail:

I'm begining to think there's something in the water around here....

Shhhh!

Now everyone's going to want some!

On a side note, I may be the only kid who did NOT grow up with Sesame Street. We didn't have cable television until I was a teenager. I missed out on a lot of pop culture. We only got channels 10 and 12, and if the president was speaking that night, we were screwed! Oh well, perhaps this explains where my imagination comes from.

:D

I grew up in almost the same boat...we got 9 and 11. We also got 13 and 55, but they were the same as 9 and 11. Most of the time we also got channel 4, and we always got public television....

4 whole channels. We bought a VCR and a lot of movies.

Sesame Street wasn't on cable, at least not around here. It's a PBS show. Where'd ya grow up, Mack? (my curiosity is neverending...)

Speaking of Sesame Street, my littlest one is watching it right now. They are showing the Hurricane episodes that they made a few years ago. Poor Big Bird. :(

I like Elmo and Cookie Monster. I mean... how can you not like a big furry blue monster who loves cookies?

Sesame Street has always been on PBS. We didn't have cable until I was in college, but my dad always had a big antenna on the roof, so we got all the network stations and the PBS stations, so I did grow up with sesame street. I even had a crocheted Ernie vest (my sister had Bert... I am NOT kidding, there's pictures floating around somewhere.)
