I consider someone a virgin until they engage in intercourse, consensual or not. Innocence, once lost or stolen, can never be given back.

I think the technicle definition of virginity is not having sexual intercourse in which you have either put your penis into a vagina or your vagina has entertained a penis.

So I don't think that masturbating has any bearing on virginity.

It can break a hymen though.
