Is Timing All? How Important Is It?

I have tended to submit my stories over the weekend, which means that, since they are all in html format, they don't usually appear until Monday or Tuesday. Have any of y'all found that the time of week your stories came out made any difference as to how many people read it and what reaction they had to it?

I've got one story that I'm still tweaking but is otherwise ready, and one that is 7/8 finished, but needs some research done on it.

No difference for me

I've had stories post on different days. There is more story reading happening over the weekend, of course, but I haven't really noticed a difference in number of reads or voting from a Wednesday post, for example.

The new stories will stay in that category for a week, so that should aid in attracting viewers.

I'd say - submit away! Let it fall wherever!

never really noticed a difference...but I do think a story submitted on a monday or tues gets up quicker because fewer people submit on the first few days of the week...of course that's all subjective.
