Is throwing MM bisexual stuff into a series too risky?

Using FF and MM tags in the same series is risky because there are far more people that like one but not the other than like both. However, for those that like both, it might be harder to find it and so you'd get some really appreciative readers. Essentially, write what you want to read and the readers will come.

But isn't this ambiguous? Or doesn't it matter? If it's a bunch of frat guys having fun with the same woman, it's one thing. If it's a threesome with the two men having sex with each other, it's quite another. True?

My point is, they don't even go into the story to find out.
