Is this plausible?

For a story I am working on (instead of my half-written Earth Day story, which I should be working on), I have a question. Does the following scenario seem plausible?

18-year-old, sexually inexperienced gets involved in a Domme/sub relationship with his employer. It goes on for a year of training, with CFNM, milking, lots of experiences that link pleasure/pain. All fully consensual. There is no orgasm denial, but the sub has to tell his Domme if he masturbates (no real negative consequences), and the Domme sees that over time, the sub is masturbating less and less.

After the first year of training, they are separated for a period of time by circumstance, not choice on either parties' part. Is it plausible that during that period, he would be unable to masturbate to orgasm as he strongly equates orgasm with his Domme?

One small thing to think of. Clergy have been abstaining from sex for centuries.
