What is your impression of my presence on this board?

The answer to that(IMO) is this...

I like ya, but you know that. I like your zany side, willing to let loose and have fun. You have tastes that are not necessarily common in this community and I value and respect that.

You also have a more serious side, which comes to the forefront when someone is getting grief on the board, your compassion is evident.

If you are feeling like people do not read your posts, well many do not. Its a huge board, noone could possible read all of it. With many new posters and your less frequent posting habits, perhaps many do not know you enough to seek out your threads/posts.

I do, though, and noone else matters. Right?

people seem to ignore me too..but i've figured it out i think..this could be what's happening with you too..

i have a busy real life, and share one computer with my computer-head/game-head bf..
so it's often a bit of "lag" between my posting stuff, and coming back to check on the conversation..

also my time zone is opposite to most of you..so i'm on at weird times(not apply to you this bit i guess)

people would rather talk to the person who's around and engaging them..than post replies and wait for mine..no big deal

When I came to the board, the first post I read was from Starfish. Since then I think I've read almost all her contributions (though responded to few). I would summarise what I've learned so far:

She's intellligent but quirky.

She's a tremendously loyal and compassionate friend.

A ferocious enemy.
