Suggestion: Break up those long paragraphs. Break up those long sentences. Doing so should improve most of the grammatical errors.
Why are you people trying to dissect this story? Does the author know you're doing this?
If you have bothered to click on the link and checked it out, you'd have found that e-mail feedback option is disabled.
You are as mean spirited as Tatewaki. I do not wish to interact with people like you in any form or shape. Please restrain from sending me any more PMs as well as responding on any of my thread. I will simply not reply to them no longer.the_bragis said:CV, your a smart man, didn't this tell you something?
You still don't get it? Ok... The author obviously doesn't want feedback.
Alex.
KillerMuffin said:It really doesn't matter if the author knows he's reviewing her story or not. In fact, should one actually get the balls to venture into the real publishing world, one's work will be skewered by whatever critic is having a bad day. And the reviewer will never ask permission first. They don't even ask permission to quote parts of the story.
A reader does not have to be a writer to have an opinion on stories. The average editor in the average publishing house is not an author because the two are not mutually inclusive. Why should Lit be different?
CV is not only entitlted to his opinion, he is permitted to share it any manner he so chooses, whether the author likes it or not. Here we bitch about those cowards who drop anonymous hate mail. CV posts it here. Do take your pick, anonymous hate mail or having the negative review attached to someone's name.
Honestly, trying to shut up a critic? Do you even know copyright law? CV can legally quote portions of that work to write a nasty review if he chooses. It's the law. He is legally protected by US Copyright law and the Berne Convention.
CV is neither wrong, out of line, or showing bad manners. Welcome to the wide world of being published. Don't like it? Whine.
