Hardly, dearheart! Why,it's full of sweetness and light and cheery folks.Just the other day I,a newbie, was introduced to the sweetest person here,Dolf.A veritable font of whit, sagacity, and good cheer!

The monsters are what makes it amusing. Why on earth would I ignore them?

Tee hee.

Are you opposed to using the space bar on principle, or is there some other reason?

What,youhaveaproblemwithreadingwhathewrote?

I've just noticed an outbreak of stylistic postings lately (i.e. that bumlicker (why would anyone lick a bum? I just give them a dollar) who insists on putting half his posts in the title) and I want to see if there's a valid reason for it before hitting the ignore button.

Life's too short to suffer illiterates.

Aw. Still able to hijack any thread in the blink of an eye.

I  you guys.

... Somewhat.

Most of you are rather icky, though.

nope honey,just a terrible typist

Then why is it only after punctuation marks that you omit the space:confused:

Not that it matters, of course. You have to be you and my annoyances have no impact on your life. So I shall wish you good day, sir.

They seem OK at first but once you get to know them a certain grey tedium sets in and you realize your time would be more interestingly spent elsewhere.

Undoubtedly. Still though, who among us hasn't gone slumming from time to time?

Indeed.

For some, a very select few, it's the medium. Using smartphones and pads and whatnot with dynamic inputs. Slip-ups are common, sometimes posting in haste in public environments and the like makes you miss a few steps you'd normally catch on a proper keyboard at a desk.

But for many, it's clearly their dysfunctional literacy and the only way their brains know how to write. You can tell somehow about a person's literacy level after about ten or so posts. Some of them have been blaming it on their devices for ages, yet they still sound like they have marbles in their mouths. No time for those lightbulbs.

True but the slumming is built in to the board by leaks in the "Ignore system".

You may see a post that is blocked because you put them on Ignore but in the next post down someone will quote the yo-yo and you will get a whiff.

As an extra feature there is a "view post" option in the upper right corner of a hidden post. If you fancy a whiff just hit one up. No need to get any more involved.:)

If you don't understand the significance, don't pretend that you do.

I didn't know you worked at this level intellectually. Purely average.

Don't bother trying to communicate with me, sweets. I'll just make you feel bad about yourself.

Psh. Spray a bit of air freshener and everything will be fine.
