Is this a Milestone?

So, for those of you with thousands of followers, was 1K a milestone for you?

Congrats! I just hit 1000 this week!

The "favorite" designation would have more bite/meaning if it carried out in sustained voting. I've even seen quite a few "favorite" votes registered without an actual vote on the story, which supports the idea that it's used to a large extent just to index stories to maybe read someday.

Yeah, that's what I've seen too. Favorites don't often translate to a vote. Another "upgrade" that I wish was in the works. A very easy to get at "To-Do" list of stories that Readers can list out for themselves. Which would be nice to see but mean something completely different. And Congrats on your second 1,000, (A couple months late I know) I've barely done it once, I couldn't imagine twice.

I expect that by the end of the day today, the meter will roll over and my number of followers will click off of 999 to reach an even 1,000.

I haven't tracked this number much, but it seems to have been adding one or two each day for the past few months. I do know that it saw a boost when I posted my first story in the incest category but based on reader feedback, the most loyal followers are fans of my novels.
