I like to control when in sexual situations...am not a Dom, and find that women with sub tendencies thrive with what I enjoy doing....

But it seems that you are either a Dom, or you are not...and there is this thing about being a "novice" Dom that doesn't help...I do not want to be a Dom, and am really unsure of all the terms anyways...lol...

So I ask, is there something between staright vanilla and a Dom...in terminology...that fits the description of a man that is controlling but not necessarily into the BDSM scene?

In terminology I guess a Top would fit, but I don't think puts you outside of the bdsm scene.

I wouldn't be concerned about labels. If you know what you like, there are plenty of partners to complete the puzzle of what you have to offer and what they are looking for.
