To make it so your browser doesn't allow popup windows?

I am getting SICK TO DEATH of ads for the net's largest casino, and would I like 12 different cell phones, and how bout a mini cam I can carry anywhere with complete privacy?

There has GOT to be a way! Please... tell me there's a way....

Yeah, I think there is.

There's a program called AdBuster that can handle that for you. I've yet to download it, but now, having closed my gazillionth popup ad for the X-Cam, I'm about to do so.

And, from what I've heard, it's free. And there are at least a couple more programs like it out there, too. I just can't come up with their names offhand.

I believe turning off java script will eliminate much of this, the trade off being it will eliminate parts of many sites as well.

Those damn pop-ups are the most annoying thing in the world.

Even MORE annoying, are the ones set to pop up a new one when you close the first. Those REALLY suck.

I was looking for pics from A Knights Tale earlier, and GAWD, every time I cliecked to enlarge a pic, I got 3 brand new ads. I get so frustrated with those sites that they get closed out and I don't go back.

Go to cnet.com and do a search for pop-up killers or something like that. You should be able to find several programs.

Are these pop up ads from websites, or do you have winad running on your computer?

The iCab will let you have ********** AND turn them off. It does the two seperately
