I think you need to get out more or perhaps go play in traffic. If you are the measure of what the "North" has to offer then God help us all.

Last time I checked it was the United States of America, not the United States of the North. Get our more and see exactly what the Southern part of the United States has to offer you. Might just find that the stereotype could'nt be any further from the truth.

Walk a mile in other peoples shoes before you judge, in this case perhaps travel the entire United States and then make an edjucated assumption at least.

I've been to a lot of the country, on business and found most of the people pretty reasonable, there are unfortunately assholes all over.

One thing I have learned is that white liberals know few blacks. They get their images from television and movies. The more you know about blacks the more you hate them.

The South would be atrociously poor and not resemble Austria at all if it succeeded. Think Nigeria - a small wealthy class based around exploiting natural resources in a sea of "middle class" people that average 15k less per year than an equivalent northerner. Without the Federal government providing funding for services and infrastructure the rural south would descend in vast poverty and misery would be widespread. Educational outcomes would be a joke. People would die of preventable diseases - again think Nigeria. Rick Perry would call it a success though.

Also the North would keep Florida, Virginia, and Kentucky.
