Is parking for sex a lost art?

In my generation, every teenager got his or her introduction to sex in a car parked on a lonely road. Does anybody do that in today's world?

I grew up in the 60s. I had a 1964 Impala SS with a giant back seat.

I never did it as a teenager, but I have as a adult. My wife and I have had fun in various vehicles over the years. Once, we pulled into our driveway while it was raining. We were thinking that as soon as we opened the garage door, the kids would be coming to see us, I'd have bring the sitter home, and the privacy from our dinner date would be over. We turned the engine off and climbed into the back seat. We had plenty of privacy in the rain. We've also had fun in the back of the minivan on date nights as well. No lonely roads for us. We'd just go to the top level of a parking garage, or to a large parking lot after hours. Our vehicle might be in plain view of traffic, no one can see inside the tinted windows at night. We'd pick a secluded spot away from other cars. Fun times! I hope that I never get too old to do playful things just for the fun of it.

I, too, never indulged in this while a teenager, largely because, like many teenagers of my day on the right side of the Atlantic (directionally speaking) I never owned or had access to a car. Indeed, I would guess that most use of cars for sex over here was by adulterous couples who couldn't afford a hotel room or were too embarrassed to book one. (The advent of cheap hotel chains with on-line booking and check-in must help there.)

There is also the fact that cars over here were generally far smaller than their American counterparts and it is a wonder that anyone who had sex in them didn't ruin themselves for life with the contortions they must have had to go through.

I used to have to wait until parents were out (fortunately both worked) before I could smuggle girlfriends up to my bedroom. I suspect that today's teenagers may benefit from a much more relaxed attitude on the part of their parents.

As a teenager I was initiated in the passenger seat of a first generation Honda CVCC. Those reclining seats were a wonderful thing. Don't think for a minute that kids aren't having sex in cars today. I don't think it is so much a lost art, but more that today's cars aren't conducive to it. Gone are the days of the bench front seat, trucks have buckets and the back is cramped and lumpy. Plus, more often than not, you get some officious cop interrupting the fun.

Even big back seats suck. Back of a pickup is better. Been there many times. Bent over the hood works too.

When I was a teenager in the 1980's it was about the only option. I drove a pick up even then, so it was on the only seat, or a blanket in back.

Now, deep into my forties, thank god for crew cab pickups! That back seat with real doors has brought the fun back.

In years not too far gone by, the back seat of an extended cab pickup worked, but the wife and I were getting a little too old for the cramped space.

I did then and my wife and I still do from time to time just for fun. The only problem now is we are afraid of getting robbed or something. Back then it was the claw stories or some other horror story but now it may be true.
But apart from that junk the sex is still great!!!!

My wife and I just did it recently. We were at the beach down the road from where we live and parked off in a corner and once it got darker she started going down on me and the plan was to give me a little public BJ, but I kept looking into the back seat and finally said, "Let's go."

It was a hell of a thrill and I'm fairly certain at least a couple people spotted what was going on.
