Hi Friends,
I'm wondering if a legal decision may be required. I started out with a titled poem called "Mentally Challenged Girl," and after a couple of weeks of no decision, I got a notice about under-age rejection, so I pointed out that the poem dealt with a person of legal age, but with a mentally challenged mind and renamed my poem to "Mentally Challenged Pleasure," then resubmitted it for approval, and waited, again without a response, not even a rejection this time. Then I submitted another poem called "Forbidden Unforbidden Topic?" Needless to say, there was no response although I hoped this poem would urge some kind of decision, but smile, no prize here either! In fact, this poem which is classified as non-erotic, and has no sex in it whatsoever seems to have caught the avoidance flu also. I have to say that a poem I wrote dealing with the mentally challenged, called "A Secret Joy," had this same problem, but when I changed the title to "Secret Joy," it went right through with the approved within a few days. I'm confused. Am I dealing with a forbidden subject, or a topic someone just finds distasteful. It would be nice to know, one way or the other! Thanks for your response, (responses?) Smile.
