Is it possible?

You been drinking too much of that wine. ;)

Sounds good ... I'm sure I'll be here. ~sigh~

Hell I haven't touched that wine.........it's way to expensive for me to drink...Give me a few bottles of Boone's Farm and I'm a happy girl. :D

I'll call you when I'm on my way home from the club.

PHIL LESH AND FRIENDS to Headline 18th Annual SATURDAY IN THE PARK FESTIVAL http://www.saturdayinthepark.com

PHIL LESH AND FRIENDS, led by former Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, will headline the 18th annual Saturday in the Park Festival, scheduled this year for Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the Grandview Park Bandshell in Sioux City, Iowa. Along with Lesh, performers for this year's festival include the BODEANS, UMPHREY'S MCGEE, THE NADAS, and SNAKEBEARD JACKSON. The line-up will also include two remaining acts, to be announced. The festival begins at noon and runs through 10:30 p.m. with fireworks sponsored by the Greater Sioux City Board of REALTORS® immediately following the PHIL LESH AND FRIENDS performance. And once again, Saturday in the Park is pleased to welcome Iowa Public Television for the second year. IPTV will be filming highlights of each performance and airing the clips in an upcoming Saturday in the Park television special.

This free music festival draws tens of thousands of people each year.
Saturday in the Park was founded in 1991 by Dave Bernstein and Adam Feiges.

PHIL LESH AND FRIENDS (http://www.phillesh.net) Founded by former Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, PHIL LESH AND FRIENDS is a five-member band that follows a trend of "updating" the Grateful Dead's massive body of work, adept at the long, exploratory jams that were a trademark of the Dead.
Members Steve Molitz (keyboards), Jackie Greene (vocals and guitar), Larry Campbell (guitar, mandolin, fiddle), John Molo (drums) and Lesh have been acclaimed for giving new life to the Grateful Dead's material, bringing in new styles and innovations, while at the same time remaining loyal to the original music and the original fans. It is this melding of musical influences that has given them extremely wide appeal not only among old Deadheads, but the modern-day fans of other jam bands as well.

"We are really looking forward to having Phil Lesh and Friends perform at the fest this year, along with Umphrey's and the BoDeans," said Bernstein.
"Phil is playing all of the major festivals this summer, from Bonnaroo to Rothbury, Milwaukee Summerfest and the 10,000 Lakes Festival. We are honored to be on that list."

BODEANS (http://www.bodeans.com) Formed in 1983 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the BODEANS changed from a duo, to a trio, and then a quartet by 1985. Under the guidance of legendary producer T-Bone Burnett, they entered Hollywood's Sunset Sound Factory in October to record their first album. The critically acclaimed debut "Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams was released in 1986. In January 1987, a Rolling Stone reader poll voted them Best New American Band. Their 1993 song "Closer to Free" was selected as the theme song to the TV series Party of Five. The single reached #3 on the US Adult Top 40 charts. The BODEANS released their new album, entitled "Still", on March 4, 2008.

UMPHREY'S MCGEE (http://www.umphreys.com) The ascension continues for Chicago's UMPHREY'S MCGEE, not only in terms of their commercial success but in creative accomplishment and instrumental achievement as well. UMPHREY'S MCGEE is Brendan Bayliss (guitar, vocals), Jake Cinninger (guitar, Moog, synthesizers, vocals), Joel Cummins (keyboards, vocals), Andy Farag (percussion), Kris Myers (drums, vocals), and Ryan Stasik (bass). UMPHREY'S MCGEE has - since forming in the late '90s in the South Bend, Indiana area - cultivated an impressive presence both live and in the studio. Their first official live release, "Live at the Murat" is as impressive as anything they've recorded to date, with the power and finesse that have come to characterize their by-now classic material. Fans revel in UMPHREY'S flair for inventive improvisation, incredible covers, and unpredictable moments.

THE NADAS (http://www.thenadas.com) For a band with nearly 15 years behind them, THE NADAS marked a lot of firsts with their new album "The Ghosts Inside These Halls." The roots rockers' sixth studio release is their first produced by the band, their first recorded in their hometown of Des Moines, IA, and their first as a fivesome. THE NADAS members include Ian Shephard, Mike Butterworth, Jason Walsmith, Jon Locker, and Ross VanderWerf, and the band altogether has sold more than 75,000 albums through their own Authentic Records. Like so many American bands, THE NADAS started as a way for its members to pass the time between classes. Unlike so many American bands, THE NADAS outlasted their educations and rode a growing fan base to a genuine, honest-to-goodness career.

SNAKEBEARD JACKSON (http://www.snakebeardjackson.com) Sioux Falls, SD, band SNAKEBEARD JACKSON is a union of rock, bluegrass, country and blues.
Comprised of six members (Joey Fokken, Sean McFarland, Matt McFarland, Travis Jamison, Josh Rieck, and Jesse Wilkens) with musical tastes as varied as their creative contributions, SNAKEBEARD is host to a vocal/guitar team that strums, sings and screams the blues, a thundering stand-up bass, a drummer that hits like a heavyweight, an aggressive mandolin picker and one of the area¹s finest washboard players. SNAKEBEARD JACKSON has opened for the likes of Shooter Jennings, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Tesla, Cowboy Crush, Kansas, and others.

Two other bands will be announced shortly...

Do you know how long that just took to register in my fried brain?

I did some research today on hotels.

I'm thinking either the Comfort Inn or the Country Inn that we stayed at last year. The Clarion is nice, but with all the rugrats, I'd rather them eat a huge hotel breakfast ... Clarion doesn't have free breakfast ... then they won't be begging for food before 11am. Hopefully. :D
