Long Distance Relationship
I have made several friends on this site and would probably be friends in person with several more (men and women) if we were close by. I agree with cowslingers sentiments but would add that it is just as difficult to find a relationship here as it is at a bar or club in real time. There are many places we go to where we are free to cut loose and be someone else that we aren't normally. And just like clubs, there are creeps, liars and players.
Be yourself, pay attention to your surroundings and have fun.

I guess I'm one of the lucky few in more ways than one...
LDR #1 was VERY long distance, but it was true, it was real. We also met...so we had an inkling of what life would be. I loved that man very very deeply as anyone who knew me at my time with him will attest. His dream was more important than OUR dream or need, he chose that...and so...it couldn't grow. Remember if it can't grow, it'll die. *nods*
LDR#2 is the man I will marry in 2013.
As for being lucky in friendships on lit...I've also been lucky, it seems, on the friend front. I've only met one woman that still makes me shake my head, and wonder about the men in this world...and one total turd. Think King of the Turds. LOL
Other than that, no complaints...so I'd say lit and the lit gods have been quite good to me.
