Is it pizza

There is a place here who makes fantastic pizza. They also make pizza with a cauliflower crust. Itโ€™s quite decent. Very good, in fact. Itโ€™s not regular crust, but it was good and I hate cauliflower. Cauliflower is disgusting. But this crust was on point.

Curious, I asked for the nutritional information. It was 108 carbs for the whole pizza, which was approximately the same number of carbs for the regular crust. Turns out, cauliflower crust isnโ€™t just cauliflower.

With that said, thatโ€™s probably not true of all crusts. But it explains why this was good.

I used to make pizzas for my kids when they were little and they loved it until they got to middle school age. I didn't know why they didn't like it anymore until my oldest had a party and a bunch of their friends came over. They were sharing stories about 'the worst things' their parents ever did and my oldest told his friends, "My dad used to put broccoli on pizza!"

Oops. Okay, so maybe I wasn't such a good parent after all. ๐Ÿ™€

I started to like pizza a whole bunch more once I found MOD
experimenting with an antique alternative dessert to icecream called syllabub... it is essentially whipped cream with some kind of alcohol (in this case ameretto, though wine seems to have been a common choice in past centuries), mixed with some sugar and lemon juice. Served chilled.

You are insane. Be warned: I may have to stalk someone else
You will stalk me forever! Bwahaha

Cauliflower crust done right is excellent. I am a cheese and toppings kind of girl. Less crust the better. Cauliflower crust is not filling, therefore I have more room for toppings!!

Pineapple and anchovies. Sweet and salty! Yummers!
