has anyone else had sensitivity to "silicone/gel" toys?
My Mistress and I have a double headed dildo and its a silicone model. After a short while, it becomes very uncomfortable for me. I washed it thoroughly before and after use but the symtoms are still the same. It burns...I've never had this before and am curious to see if I am alone in this...
*huge sighs*

I haven't experienced those symptoms, but it sure sounds like you're allergic to the silicone. Why don't you try it with a condom and see if that helps?

yannow.. now that you say it, i do remember way back when condoms were essential in my life and they were a no go too... but i was thinking it was the nonoxonal(sp) maybe a latex sensitivity?
its a huge bummer either way. the regular dildos don't bother me at all.

Allright. Some people are sensitive to latex but not silicon as far as I've heard. I think that what you are experiencing is vaginal dryness and chafing due to that lack of lubrication. Try a thicker, slower to dry lube or at least re-lubing your dildo often.

I agree with that but ...I wasn't dry... but, i certainly will try that in any case. you never know, it might be that I get dry after a while and I just can't tell? hrm... something I hadn't thought of.
thank you.

I have to be careful with them too. Short term usage is ok but not for long or repeated use. But then I'm famous for using stuff like heated gels etc. only to find the chemicals in them are the same as in nail polish remover :D

I just prefer glass.

GLASS!!!
i love it too, though its so expensive...*sigh* one day!

There is a lube called..Hmmm..

"WET"

Comes in assorted formulations..Try the one in the black bottle - Jeeze that damn stuff lasts forever..

AND it has a pretty neutral taste.

latex sensitivites are very common

silicone sensitivities are far less common.

Are you sure your item is silicone? I ask this because silcone usually is priced very similarly to glass and pyrex.

There are also hard acrylic toys that may bother you less.

We use a lube called Climax Fruitbomb. It comes in about five really yummy flavors and just a little dab does ya :D
