There have been times I have been so desperate for something, only to finally get it and then lose interest.

It has left me wondering if I am only attracted to the chase, so to speak, and not to the object.

Often times, the chase is MUCH more exciting than the object of intrest, once you finally have that object. At least, that's the way it is for me.

Yes... that is my point. You are so focused on GETTING it , that when you get it...it is like..oh, well...kinda like kids opening their Christmas presents in such a flurry and then when it is all over, they look around for the next one.
