met with an iranian client the other day. after we got done talking about the building he wants to do, he went on a long, loooong tangent about how iran is a good country, peaceful, kind, it has lovely beaches and gorgeous mountains, it's got a proud history of being the first country, the best country, etc.

Given the issues in the Middle East I'd imagine a lot of non-Jews are wondering the same thing. I have often thought that the Palestinians have a real beef. What was so special about May 14, 1948?
