The appeal of Lit, and the rest of the net, back in the day, was
anonymity. The safety to explore and dialogue freely, without
blowback in the real world. Is that gone now? With everyone
using their real names on Facebook, and no one caring anymore
about people knowing your political and sexual affiliations, is
anonymity on line dead?
I think so. Dixon Carter Lee is dead. There's no need for these
dumb ass usernames anymore. My name is Phil. Phil Daniels.
Nice to meet you.
