For all the talk about things which won't appear, it appears Trump has once again been caught in web of lies regarding his tax returns.

First he claimed he was worth $10 billion. Until tax returns from only a few years ago showed him worth only $4 billion.

Then Trump said he would release his tax returns to show he was on the up and up. Until he said he wouldn't because he was being audited.

Then he said he'd release his tax returns once the audits were competed. Except the IRS has said there is no legal reason Trump can't release his returns despite the audits.

Of course there's also no reason Trump can't release past returns, not under any audit, but then that would be admitting to facts which Trump certainly can't do.

Now comes word that not only has at least one Republican working on Hillary's campaign offered to donate $5 million to the charity of Trump's choice if he releases his returns, another wealthy donor has offered an additional $1 million.

Trump is unmoved. The billionaire owner of the Trump Organization, an international development company, says the Internal Revenue Service is reviewing his most recent returns and that he'll release them once that audit is complete.

He (Trump) reiterated that plan at a news conference Wednesday in Doral, Florida. Asked when he would put out the documents, he said: "I don't know. Depends on the audit."

There's no telling whether that would happen before Election Day, but the IRS says there's no legal reason Trump can't make the tax returns public even as they are under review.

The IRS should just do what they often do. Send him a letter saying the audit is complete, was in error, or whatever.
IN a couple months send another saying the fist letter was sent in error and they are, in fact, auditing him.
