Irreverence

Is it a bad thing? Even though some of us have no self control when it comes to being considerate of more serious threads on the board? I find that I'm highly irreverent, very little is sacred to me. Nothing seems to be sacred to a few of us, and some of us get all hot under the collar whenever irreverence pops its silly head.

What was my point? I forgot again. Oh well, going to go call a marine in Ft. Sill...

<raises her hand, chuckling> I am a member of the Board Gestapo. It's part of my nature as a teacher to try to guide people and organize. I'm also highly opinionated about many areas, while in many others, I'm extremely easy-going. Therefore, once in a while you'll have to put up with a treatise about desirable (according to me) board interaction. One thread every couple of months should be no bother at all to ignore. I hope that whatever else I contribute the other 99% of the time balances out that occasional sermon on board behavior.

I care about this board, and I miss Lovely Latina, Siren, Golden, Roger, Endlessly, Kerrie O'Keefe, and many others who used to come here and contribute a unique blend of wit, humor, fun, and intelligence. There are lot of other folk, whom I admire, still lurking around on the sidelines, but who don't post as much as they used to. It's a shame.
